Did you know Sons of the American Legion (SAL), a group within the American Legion Post 317, purchases and hangs dozens of flags up and down main street every May? There is currently a significant gap of about 0.3 miles on main street that does not have any flag holsters or flags. I'll be teaming up with the SAL to help raise funds to close the gap in time for Memorial May. Please join us for a fundraiser at Yardley Ice House on April 14.

8:30 am: Gather at the Yardley Veterans Memorial
9:00 am: Welcome & National Anthem
9:05 am: Inspiring Speakers – Hear powerful stories from veterans, first responders, and families honoring those who served.
9:30 am: Begin the 3-mile walking loop
10:30 am: Walk Concludes at Fitzgerald Field
10:35 am: Post-Walk Hangout with Food, Bounce Houses, War Vehicles, and other Family Friendly Activities
12:00 pm: Event Ends

7:00 AM – Rifle Salutes (beginning at Slate Hill Cemetery)
7:45 AM – Main Street Memorial Mile Race (starting on Main Street in front of American Legion Post 317 / ends at the Yardley Friends Meetinghouse)
9:00 AM – Memorial Day Ceremony (Yardley Veteran's Monument at the intersection of Afton & Delaware Ave by the Yardley Inn)
11:00 AM – Memorial Day Parade (on Main Street throughout the entire Borough, from north to south)
